Ten-year insurance (décennale)
It covers damage affecting the soundness of the work for ten years. Ask for the certificate before signing: it must show the insurer, the covered activities and the area.
A detailed quote
A good quote describes every item with quantities and prices, and states the timeline and how long it is valid. A single total without detail cannot be compared.
Who really does the work
Ask who will be on site: the company's own team or subcontractors. And who your contact will be from start to finish.
